
Why calibrate an instrument?
A typical instrument calibration directly impacts 3 points:Efficient Performance, generating operational savings at the plant, from raw materials to preventive maintenance.
Inspection rules that require instrument calibration in an accredited laboratory.
Metrological reliability, which means traceability of instruments and standards used.

Digimed works through RBC calibration (including on-site calibration) and traceable calibration. Check below our scope for each modality.

RBC Calibration
For RBC calibration, we use CRM and calibrated and certified instruments to ensure traceability and uncertainty.
It is performed in our ABNT NBR ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory.
The RBC certificate, mandatory for some industrial segments, is issued at the end of the procedure.

The RBC calibration on-site is performed at the customer's site and follows the same rigorous procedures as in our laboratory.
We work with the following parameters for RBC on-site: pH, Conductivity, Fluorine, Dissolved Oxygen, and Spectrophotometry.


In traceable calibration, the points are reported by the customer, and we use certified standards for instrument verification.
The Traceable Calibration certificate is issued when we validate that the instrument operates smoothly and within agreed points.
We work with a wide range of parameters: pH, ORP, Conductivity, Dissolved Oxygen, Chlorine, Turbidity, Color, Fluorine, Ammonia, Silica, Phosphate, Iron, Temperature, Spectrophotometry, among others.
